Dr. Catherine Moore received her medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston after completing her undergraduate degree at Rice University.
She served her psychiatry internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and completed her psychiatry residency in 1985 at the University of California, San Diego.
She has been in solo private practice in Mission Valley for over 32 years.
Dr. Moore is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
She has served as the President of her county’s professional association, the San Diego County Psychiatric Association, and as a trustee of her state professional association, the California Medical Association.
She serves as the only psychiatrist on the California Mental Health Policy Council.
